Stade Toulousain: three internationals on vacation, an Argentinian back this weekend?
While three players are enjoying a week off, Juan-Cruz Mallia should be on the wing in Clermont on Sunday January 1 (9 p.m.).
Disneyland for some, the end of the world for another… In this week of Christmas holidays, three players from Stade Toulousain are enjoying some well-deserved days off. On the bridge without stopping, even on their return from the Autumn Tour with the XV of France, Romain Ntamack, Matthis Lebel and Peato Mauvaka can finally breathe. The three players were granted a week’s break by the “red and black” staff.

Dorian Aldegheri, who also gave a lot during this first part of the season, benefits from a lighter schedule while remaining available for the match in Clermont on Sunday January 1 (9 p.m.). The right pillar – whose performances are impressive weekend after weekend – has taken part in 15 matches played by Stade Toulousain since the start of the season, including 12 as a starter. It commands respect.
Antoine Dupont at the opening in Clermont?
If Ange Capuozzo is still dragging his hand injury, the other long-term injuries (François Cros, Santiago Chocobares and Pierre Fouyssac) are taking part in collective training this week but are benefiting from adapted sessions. From there to being aligned this weekend in the Puy de Dôme? Ugo Mola will decide in the hours to come, as will Pita Ahki and Thibaud Flament, both uncertain and absent from training on Wednesday December 28.
The Argentinian Juan-Cruz Mallia should however be on the trip and be aligned on the wing (a first since October 30). Antoine Dupont could for his part recover the place of opening half to replace the first two choices which are Romain Ntamack (holidays) and Thomas Ramos (suspended). It would be a first (as a holder) this season. In this case, Paul Graou and Martin Page-Relo will compete for the number 9 spot.
