Concretely, Ricciardo will receive the tidy sum of 22.5 million euros from McLaren in 2023, or 150% of his annual salary (15 million euros) in damages paid by the Woking team. for having broken his contract a year before the expiry date.
Ricciardo will also receive a €2m salary from Red Bull Racing for the reserve driver role he will take on at eight to ten Grands Prix next year. A role that will also involve driving in the Milton Keynes simulator to help develop the RB19.
