The story continues between FC Toulouse and the Scandinavia. Tuesday, December 27, 2022, the club of the island of Ramier announced an agreement in principle for its first recruit of the winter transfer window: the right side Warren Kamanzi (22 years old), from Tromso (Norway). This arrival will be effective after the player’s medical visit and from the 1uh January 2023, date of the opening of the transfer period.
A very offensive side
This Norwegian U21 international will replace the Dane Mikkel Desler, victim of pubalgia and absent for several more weeks. “His versatility will also allow him to evolve to the position of left side”, specifies the Téfécé.
Despite his position, Warren Kamanzi never hesitates to go up to the forefront. During his last season with Tromso, the side played 30 games for four goals scored and three assists. The proof that he is not confined to defending.
He won’t really be out of place
To perfect his adaptation in the Pink City, Warren Kamanzi can count on his compatriot Kjetil Haug, the goalkeeper arrived this summer on the banks of the Garonne. Toulouse also has several Scandinavians in the squad: the Danes Mikkel Desler and Rasmus Nicolaisen or Swedish Olivier Zanden.
Note that the new recruit already knows Naatan Skytta. Indeed, last season in Norway, Warren Kamanzi had faced the young Finnish midfielder. The latter was then loaned by the TFC to the Viking FK club.
The transfer can only be effective from 1uh January 2023, Warren Kamanzi will not be in the group that will challenge IOlympic MarseilleThursday December 29, 2022, at the Stade Vélodrome.
