Rouen on a walk, Grenoble goes on, Angers falls in Chamonix
It only took a third (4-1) for the Dragons of Rouen to win an easy success in their ice rink against Hormadi from Anglet. Then, the match was a walk in the park for the second in the Championship, who finally won 10-2. They scored three goals in the second level and then three more in the last. Most of the Rouennais have distinguished themselves, like the French striker Loïc Lampérier (two goals, three assists) and the Canadian Kelsey Tessier (one goal and two assists).
Amiens had no difficulty winning at home against Gap (5-2) and there was no suspense either (4-0 at the end of the first third). The Gothics were then managed and won a victory which placed them in 8th position, the last qualifier for the final stages. With this twelfth consecutive victory in Nice (3-1), the Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble are more than ever leaders of the Magnus League with 65 points.
Stunning Chamonix
What a reversal of Chamonix at home! The Pioneers conceded three goals in the second period and trailed 4-1 with 13 minutes remaining, before turning the game around. They scored four goals in less than ten minutes, including a hat-trick from Matt Tugnutt (plus an assist). The Haut-Savoyards confirm their upturn in recent weeks with a fifth success in a row.
The Bordeaux Boxers won by a small goal in Mulhouse (2-3) and ended a series of three defeats. Finally, we had to wait for the penalty shootout to see Cergy-Pontoise get rid of Briançon (2-2 ap, 2-1 on pens).
