MPK favorably renewed the tender for small buses
Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne in Krakow is supplying the supplier for the second time in the form of a lease of four mini buses up to 7.6 m long. The September first procedure in this case failed because no offer was made.
As we replied on Tuesday, MPK spokesman Marek Gancarczyk, Krakow wants to use the help of mini, because they are needed to service routes where, due to entering the streets and roads, they cannot go to regular buses.
Minibuses up to 7.6 m long are to be small with a small floor and equipped with a platform for people in wheelchairs, air conditioning and monitoring. Vehicle engines will meet the highest European Euro 6 standard.
At the end of November 2022, MPK settled the final tender for the delivery in the form of leasing of four small midi buses (approx. 9 m long), which are also to be used on narrow roads and roads. contributions from the consortium of Solaris Bus and Coach (leader) and Millennium Leasing (consortium member) for the gross amount of nearly PLN 8.5 million. No bids were submitted for the mini buses (below 8 m) also included in the order.
