It jingles, it smells, it sings. A walk through the magic of the evening in festive Prague
When darkness descends on Prague and the holiday lights start to shine, the city is even more magical than at other times. We thank Miroslava Jakubčíková for the beautiful photos.

Distant melodies carry through the street, the stalls sometimes smell of roasted chestnuts, welder, punch or the ever-present trdelnik. It is still busy in the center of Prague, only the tourists are more in clusters than in droves. That leaves time to soak up not only the welder, but also the festive atmosphere, and I wonder which of Prague’s ghosts, ghosts or ghosts will peek out from around the corner at the end of the street, and then the second and the next. Prague is full of memories, echoes and shadows of its stories and history. They like to play hide-and-seek with the evening pedestrians of Prague, but it is precisely under the twinkling of the holiday lights that it seems to you that you have to meet them just around the next corner. Or at least it seems so to him, because Prague in the evening is a dreamy city.
