Luxembourg: François Huberty takes over the provincial presidency of the Engagés
The mayor of Neufchâteau, François Huberty, becomes the new president of the Engagé.es for the province of Luxembourg. This is the result of the recently suppressed internal election in Bastogne at the Maison des Engagés. It was the Provincial Political Bureau, expanded to include new delegates, who chose François Huberty as president of the new provincial umbrella structure, now called the Provincial Federation Committee.
François Huberty thus takes over at the head of the Engagés du Luxembourg the succession of René Collin who for 19 years transferred to the destinies of the cdH, then of the Engagés.es of the province and could no longer, as a parliamentarian, exercise the presidency, by virtue of the new statutes.
The General Secretary of the Engagés, Gauthier de Sauvage, representing the National President Maxime Prévot, congratulated and thanked René Collin “for the effectiveness of his 20 years of action at the head of the Provincial Office“, before maintaining full success for the new Chairman, François Huberty (36), Mayor of Neufchâteau and Chairman of Idelux Finances.
François Huberty has set himself the priority objective of “strengthen the Mouvement des Engagés as the leading political force in Luxembourg“.
