Half a year since the Dosimeter case: the transport company is still waiting for Prague to commission audits of suspicious contracts
Among the main faces in the Dosimeter case is the accused deputy mayor and head of the STAN movement in Prague, Petr Hlubuček. He is now free, having spent 74 days in custody.
Nnot only Prague but national politics were shaken in June by the arrest of Prague’s deputy mayor Petra Hlubučka (STAN). He is accused of manipulating the orders of the transport company of the capital, along with twelve other people. The opposition – which was formed in the metropolis by ODS and ANO – made the case called Dosimeter the topic of the pre-election municipal campaign, but what happened in the city’s largest company and how much damage it caused is still not clear.
Internal audits commissioned by the transport company immediately after the outbreak of the case did not reveal anything. And he has failed to even try to join the criminal proceedings as a victim, which would have given him access to more information about the investigation. “The police replied that they were not aware of any damage being caused to us,” says Prague’s deputy mayor for transport Adam Scheinherr (Praha sebo), who also sits at the head of the company’s supervisory board.
