Capuozzo, the sky as the only limit?

Ange Capuozzo will have a hard time doing better in 2023 than in 2022, the year of total hatching for him. The Stade Toulousain, however, can allow him to automatically cross new levels at the collective level.
An angel passes. Except that this one seems set to stay. Ange Capuozzo was not named international revelation of the year (by World Rugby) for nothing, and the young Italian winger from Stade Toulousain had an absolutely exceptional year 2022. Whatever happens to him, he will remember it all his life, that’s for sure. During the Six Nations Tournament, in March, he was still playing in Grenoble (in Pro D2, therefore) when he chained two tries for his first selection against Scotland, then a fantastic action concluded with a decisive pass against Wales. It was again with the Squadra Azzurra that he shined last month, scoring another double in the test match to beat Australia (28-27), which does not happen every four mornings to the Italians.
There is no doubt that Fabien Galthié, for the Blues, would have had an eye on this young man who spent his whole life in France but decided to cross the Alps thanks to the origins of his father. Become in no time the new absolute star of the oval of his country, it remains for him of course to confirm in club. And for that, he didn’t choose the worst place… Probably the best, even. In seven games and five starts in the Top 14, the winger scored two tries. Also able to tackle if necessary, despite his slim silhouette, he is already fully integrated and important in the rotation of Ugo Mola. His wrist injury, which deprived him of the clash against Sale in the Champions Cup a little over a week ago, also seemed to be experienced by his manager as a real hard blow.
