It’s a shop that matches the Ville Rose. With its flashy color on the wall, Dreams Donuts Toulouse dresses the most curious and especially the greediest. The bay window opens and gives way to many flavors. Adrien Davrinche, Jérémie Rambeau and Guillaume Pardou opened this donut shop recently, on Saturday December 10, 2022.
American taste and vibe
At 6 rue Saint-Rome, they received a warm welcome from other merchants and Toulouse residents. Coming from the restaurant industry, the three friends wanted to set up a business set, but not just any.
“We wanted to put something together, but the Covid-19 slowed us down. We then pastry oriented“, explains Guillaume Pardou to Toulouse News.
To mark the occasion, the three friends opt for a concept that resembles them. “In Toulouse, there was no donut shops American style. We love the Simpsons so we thought why not. The result is there: in the shop, all the decoration was thought out and made by them. On the donut side, the immersion in the United States is total. “In the other shops, you will rather discover a French beignet covered with toppings. At Dreams Donuts, we find American taste and atmosphere. »
A card that renews itself
To stand out from donut shops, the managers of the shop rely on creativity. “Each week, we set up twenty creations. These are renewed at the end of these seven days”, confides Guillaume Pardou. If the creations come and go, the chefs adapt according to the tastes of the customers. Their idea is the following: “Don’t imagine it, create it”.
Indeed, in the back room hides a food printer. “We are in the image of the customer. It is possible to make boxes by theme, like Avengers, or to have your photo printed on the donuts,” says the co-founder. In the kitchen, the three friends get their hands dirty. “All three of us imagine the creations, that’s what allows us to diversify and have original tastes,” says Guillaume Pardou.
A pastry accessible to all
It was obvious for Adrien, Jérémie and Guillaume: their donuts would be accessible to all and especially to students. For this, they offer offers for young people and the price is around 2.80 euros. “We also do a lot of competitions so don’t hesitate to follow us on social networks. »
Soon, they will launch the possibility of filling your donut with a cream of your choice. On the drink side, customers can fill up with a bubble tea with multiple flavors.
