“If you don’t make it past lunch…”, the advertisement from the funeral agency – Libero Quotidiano
Explode the controversy in Rome on Christmas day. In fact, a funeral agency has chosen the following slogan for a billboard posted on many streets in the capital: “If you don’t make it past Christmas lunchwe are here”.
But this is not a slogan devised by Taffo, the famous funeral services agency which has chosen a light-hearted, grotesque register to propose funerals and their surroundings. In fact, the creators are those in charge of the Funeraria Roma Capitale, i.e. – the logo speaks for itself – a company headed by AMA, Rome’s municipal waste company.
In short, the controversy and the scandal are obvious. Very surprised the Romans, since the irony about death at Christmas comes, albeit indirectly, from a company linked to the Municipality of Rome, so much so that the slogan can also be found on the Facebook page of Funeraria Roma Capitale. The Campidoglio, however, was keen to clarify that “the Municipality has nothing to do with it, it is a private company that does not depend on us”, they concluded.
