Hanover: 84-year-old died after a brutal robbery
Tragic news on Christmas Day: After a robbery on Christmas Eve, an 84-year-old woman died in hospital on Sunday – There is no trace of the perpetrator.
Christmas Eve, around 12 noon: An 84-year-old senior leaves her apartment on Berliner Allee in Hanover. When she notices another woman in the hallway, she goes back. But she’s not fast enough – the woman catches up to her and kicks her in the hip. The elderly woman falls to the ground and is badly injured.
The perpetrator runs through the apartment, whether she stole something – unclear. They fly in an unknown direction. The victim manages to get help with the help of a house emergency call and is taken to the hospital.

On Sunday, Christmas Day, the sad news: The 84-year-old succumbed to her findings in the hospital. There is no trace of the perpetrator, the police have initiated investigations into robbery resulting in death and are looking for witnesses.
According to the police, the perpetrator is about 1.70 meters tall, about 30 to 40 years old and of “normal stature”. She has medium-blonde, shoulder-length hair and was wearing light-colored clothing.
