For God’s throw to the exotic. A charter line to Thailand started from Prague.
This time too, Čedok is collaborating on a charter connection to the exotic with the airline LOT.
The Čedok travel agency sent the first direct flight on the new charter line to Thailand, specifically to the Krabi region, on the first Christmas holiday.
Almost 300 passengers left the Czech Republic for Asia on the sold-out inaugural flight in cooperation with LOT Polish Airlines on Sunday, December 25, 2022, after noon. The journey from Prague airport will take approximately 12 hours aboard a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with registration SP-LSG.
Two departures, i.e. on the first Christmas holiday and then on January 1, 2023, are scheduled for Sunday, on other dates during the winter season, planes will take off from Prague to Krabi once a week, every Saturday evening. The course of the first flight can also be followed online at Flightradar24.com.
“The interest in direct flights to Thailand exceeded our original estimates, we completely sold out the first departure on Christmas Day and other dates throughout the winter season are filling up. We have planned the start of the new connection right during the Christmas holidays, so that Czechs can still travel for Christmas and enjoy the New Year’s Eve celebrations while on vacation. So far, we see the greatest demand in February and March, when Czechs want to fly away during the spring holidays. A convenient non-stop connection when traveling to Asia has been missing here on the Czech market for a long time, that’s why I believe that our new exotic will do well,” said Čedok CEO Stanislav Zeman.
Čedok continues with charter flights also to the Caribbean Dominican Republic or to Zanzibar in Africa, where LOT Polish Airlines aircraft are also used. Clients travel to Muscat, Oman aboard Smartwings. Tours can be purchased in the CK network or on the Čedok website. The last clients of this season in Madagascar also left right on Christmas Day.
