The World Cup specialist has moved to Italy – it’s official!
Guillermo Ochoa, the goalkeeper of the Mexican national team, transferred to Salernitana, which is in the 12th place of the Italian football championship.
According to the club, Guillermo Ochoa has signed a contract until the end of June and will wear the number 13 shirt in his new team.
The 37-year-old player comes to Italy from Club América. He has been in the Mexican association since 2019, and previously also defended in the Belgian, Spanish and French first divisions.
Salernitana was in dire need of a goalkeeper, as Luigi Sepe recently suffered a calf injury. Ochoa will be able to introduce himself to his new team on January 4th, which will continue its appearance in the league against the defending champion Milan.
