Since the beginning of December, the city guard has received over 850 reports regarding oversight with winter hazards. Most of them came from Śródmieście and Wola. Eight command managers were fined and 26 received cautions. The town hall tells you where to look for problems with icing, snow or falling icicles.
The last week in the capital was frosty, and after detecting snowfall, the action of clearing snow from streets and sidewalks was started many times. However, there were places where, despite the removal of snow, icing appeared. The arrival of the thaw did not improve the situation. The sack morning was especially difficult in this respect. As summed up by the town hall, in the period from December 1 to 20, it will read 859 checked against winter and weather conditions. from the following districts: Śródmieście (116), Wola (108), Mokotów (91), Bielany (81), Praga Południe (80).
In total, 1,359 interventions were undertaken. In the case of these interventions against the management board, fines were imposed and 26 managers were cautioned.
The man died after falling on the pavement
On Tuesday morning, a 38-year-old man fell on the pavement in Praga-Północ, probably his head on the pavement and died.
The president of Warsaw left for a tragic situation. There is nothing to reproach the municipal services of the city. – From my information, it is clear that ten fragments of the pavement are not the responsibility of the city, but a private entity. Numerous reports of injuries and dangerous falls

Who is responsible for clearing snow and hatching sidewalks from slippery conditions?
Some of Warsaw’s streets and sidewalks are managed by the City Cleanup Authority. It clears snow outside off the routes, next to public transport buses, as well as stops, sidewalks, stairs or access to the subway and underground passages.
