“An obvious over-reaction”
“This message will in no way aim to excuse the gestures or to justify them, but to explain”, begins the bar which continues:
“Our security service does its best every day to ensure that each of our evenings takes place in the prettiest and most festive of ways (…) That evening, one of our security officers, indeed intervened to protect equipment , after several repeated warnings to a group of customers, to maintain the correct broadcast of the match for the whole bar. The aftermath of the incident is unclear, and the magnitude catastrophic. As always when it comes to invectives and exchanges of blows”.
In this press release in the form of a mea-culpa, the management evokes “shared wrongs”, but “an obvious over-reaction that we deplore and resolve internally”
