The big day is finally here ! This Saturday, December 17, 2022, Agathe Cauetour Miss North – Pas de Calais 2022will compete for the crown of Miss France 2023. Inevitably, all Northerners believe in its chances of success. But we have, in addition, found five reasons (totally objective, of course) to ask for the Lille woman at every chance.
1. Her resemblance to Iris Mittenaere
This is obviously what jumps out at you as soon as you meet her. Agathe Cauet has features of resemblance to Iris Mittenaere, and all the comments are practically unanimous on this. Imagine our Miss Nord – Pas-de-Calais in brunette, and that’s it! Looks like Miss Universe. With a trump like this, the scarf automatically returns to our Agatha.
Even if Agathe appreciates this very advantageous comparison, she reminds us that she is “a person in her own right”. I would like to be identified as Agathe, I have different qualities ”, we had blown the young woman when we met her.
2. Know that
All the Misses are present on social networks, and more particularly on Instagram where they share photos and their daily lives. Based on her number of fans, Agathe is in the top 3 of the most popular Misses. Indeed, the champion with 51,800 subscribers is Miss Guyana, Shaïna Robin. In second place with 40,900 fans, we find Miss Reunion, Marion Marimoutou. And our Miss Nord – Pas-de-Calais is hot on her heels with her 40,200 followers.
But that’s not all. A survey recently carried out by our colleagues from the Progress places Agathe Cauet in first place. “At the time of writing this article, Agathe Cauet had obtained 35% of the votes out of more than 2000 answers”, can we read.
3. His personal story and his commitment
Of course, each Miss has her own story. But that of Agathe Cauet is particularly touching since an illness made her what she is today. As she told us in an interview, at the age of 17, he had a so-called borderline tumour, half-benign, half-malignant.
“Fortunately it ended well because everything was removed without chemo, surgery was enough. And that’s where I wanted to become a nurse. Agathe works at the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul hospital in Lille. The fight against cancer is naturally the cause she has chosen to support.
4. One of the first Misses to be tattooed
This is one of the amazing characteristics of our Miss Nord – Pas-de-Calais. This year, the Miss France committee has chosen to rejuvenate its image by assuming certain rules. Thus, the age limit of 25 has been lifted, married women can apply, and tattoos are now tolerated. And precisely, Agathe, just like Miss Languedoc, has one.
This tattoo, located on the right groin, is a flower arch. It is very symbolic since it evokes the ordeal that Agathe had to overcome. After the removal of her borderline tumor of 9 kilos, she kept a scar on her stomach, but also lost an ovary.
5. She comes from a region of Miss
It is well known, the Nord – Pas-de-Calais is the territory which has produced the most memorable Misses in recent years. Camille Cerf, Iris Mittenaere (crowned Miss Universe) and Maëva Coucke are all three from there.
In addition, the Northerners are always ready to support their Miss to help her win the crown. There is no doubt that this Saturday, they will vote massively for Agathe Cauet.
