Zetema’s recruitment announcement in Rome
67 room assistants in the Civic Museums and 10 front office units in the Libraries of Rome Capital: these are the two permanent profiles required by the subsidiary of Rome Capital
After more than 8 years, he is back to hiring, in the world of Roman cultural services, through a competition. In fact, the public notice of Zetema Progetto Cultura srl for the permanent hiring, with part-time contracts, of 77 new staff units: 67 room assistants in the Civic Museums and 10 front office units in the Libraries of Rome Capital. “Since 2015 it has not been possible to select new staff due to the legislation relating to the hiring freeze in investee companies”, explains the participation of Rome capital city which manages the places in the city dedicated to culture including museums, theatres, libraries, archaeological sites and monuments, without forgetting the city spaces dedicated to entertainment and tourist accommodation. Within this vast sector, Zètema is the entity that deals with the management of the Network of Civic Museums, with the planning, maintenance, conservation and cataloging activities on behalf of the Municipal Superintendency.
WHICH PROFESSIONAL PROFILES ARE REQUIRED?
The required professional profiles are essentially due. For that of museum assistant (67 units) with a level IV contract (formerly B1) of the national Federculture contract in force, a gross salary of 1495.20 euros per month is expected for fourteen months, plus allowances. The assistants will be employed to supervise the assets, structures and systems of the museum sector that Zètema manages on behalf of Roma Capitale: devices to ensure their integrity, monitor and regulate access, regulate the flow of the public, provide the necessary information. The second profile is from support officer for public assistance activities, as part of the services offered by Zetema. Salary of 1697.55 euros gross per month, out of fourteen months, plus allowances. The potential candidate will have to support the main library activities aimed at the public, for example registration and user management, support for the circulation of documents, loan and return, bibliographic information activities. Without forgetting the organization of cultural activities and activities to promote reading for the enhancement of library services aimed at adults, children, teenagers and specific groups and types of users.
HOW THE ZÈTEMA TENDER WORKS
For both profiles a high school diploma is sufficient. The selection, carried out by a specific Commission, will take place through a written exam, the evaluation of educational qualifications and professional experience and an aptitude interview: for supervisors, the exam (a questionnaire with closed-ended questions) will focus on the foundations of art history, contents of the Federculture CCNL, elements of the legislation in force on safety at work, while for the second profile the questions will concern the structure of the system of library institutions, fundamentals of librarianship, and then again contents of the CCNL Federculture and elements of current legislation on safety in the workplace. The new resources will be hired with an open-ended employment contract under the Federculture CCNL. You have until January 31, 2023 to apply.
