The chargers are built into selected city lamps, so there are no additional posts on the sidewalks. It is a black box where drivers can find cables and pictograms explaining how to use the station. Most stations allow simultaneous charging of two vehicles, and a total of 13 new chargers were created in Vinohrady.
Until the end of the year, the people of Prague have the opportunity to charge their car for free without registration, you just need to connect the cable. From next year it will be possible to find two ways. The first of them is a one-time top-up without registration via QR code, the second is registration at websiteswhere the driver gets a rechargeable chip.
“Through invoicing sign up for billing, you can choose your payment method there. The advantage of a registered customer means a lower price for charging, but also available customer services,” explains Tomáš Jílek, Chairman of the Board of Technologies of the Capital City of Prague.
People can find charging stations not only in Moravská street, but also in Korunní, Chodská, Kladská or Slezská. Several dozen more could start operating this year.
