A weekend (and the start of the holidays) under the sign of the end-of-year festivities: this is what awaits us, the weekend of Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December 2022. The editor has identified the Christmas markets announced in the Nord and Pas-de-Calais*.

Here are the announced markets in the North:
- Bruay-sur-l’Escaut: open from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Place des Farineau;
- Coudekerque Branch: from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Espace Jean Vilar, Place de la Convention;
- Dunkirk: open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., place Jean Bart (with “Journey of wonders”);
- Ghyvelde: from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sports Hall, rue Julien Platel;
- La Bassée: open from 11 a.m. to 9.30 p.m., place du General de Gaulle;
- Lille: Christmas village, open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., place Rihour;
- Lomme: open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., on the Yvon Delaporte square (opposite the Town Hall, 72, avenue de la République);
- Ladles: open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Salle des Fêtes Roger Salengro at 236, rue Jules Guesde;
- Maubeuge: from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., place Vauban;
- Roubaix: sustainable Christmas market, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., on the forecourt of the La Piscine museum and at the McArthurGlen centre;
- Saint-Amand-les-Eaux: open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Grand-Place;
- Tourcoing: open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., in the city center;
- Valenciennes: open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., place d’Armes;
- Villeneuve d’Ascq : Christmas market at the Château de Flers, open from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., chemin du Chat Botté;
- Villers-au-Tertre: Christmas market “from the feather to the hair”, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 7 bis, rue de Bugnicourt;
- Wattrelos: open from 11 a.m. to 7.30 p.m., Salle Salengro, 2, rue Emile Basly.
Here are the markets announced in Pas-de-Calais:
- Arra: Ville de Noël, open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., on the Grand-Place and in the city center, free admission;
- Bethune: Cité de Noël, open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekends, Grand-Place, free admission;
- Carvin: open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the Grand-Place;
- Couriers: from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Salle de l’Harmonie, place Jean Tailliez;
- Fauquembergues: open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the village hall;
- Gonnehem: Christmas market organized by the “Fouans en fête” association, open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., rue des Près;
- Hardinghen: open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the village hall, rue Maurice Broutta;
- Henin-Beaumont: Christmas marketopen from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., places Carnot and Jean-Jaurès;
