The research project “The relaunch of the economic chain in the horse racing sector in Italy”, scheduled at the Ancient Library of the Link University, was presented today in Rome. Numbers who have expressed the need to “work on governance” and “guarantee self-sufficiency of racecourses, a new sustainability”with important stakeholders of the supply chain who met in the round table “Horse racing in Italy between tradition, entertainment, crisis and possible rebirth”. Among the proposed solutions, that of totally changing communication, also thanks to social networks, investing in new technologies and services and making racetracks places of entertainment and entertainment at 360 degrees to make the structures “productive” and non-productive places ” more a burden to the community”.
«Our structures must go back to being a park for families and young people and therefore for the general public. We have to reach a dissemination of the event that is lacking today and for this we also need modern multifunctional and technologically advanced structures”, declared the Snaitech Racetracks business unit manager Lorenzo Fermappi. The relaunch also passes through the young people whose point of view is at the center of the research project developed with the involvement of six universities, for a total of 60 students. From the latter, 30 project works were presented, in order to study the supply chain and create innovative ideas on branding and positioning in the sector. There were ten winning projects, with the best prize obtaining a 2000 euro prize and participation in a race in an international racecourse. Innovation will also pass by MST – Multimedia system technologiesinternational supplier of horse racing content, which, as explained by the company’s Head of Operations & Business Development, Michele Rosi, is «focusing heavily on investments, on the digitization of contents, all in HD to ensure the best use of the event with micro cameras and bring racing closer to mass sporting events».
