Monaco wants to find a base for Jean Lucas
Lacking playing time this season, Jean Lucas is no longer part of Philippe Clément’s plans in Monaco. The Rock club is also interested in a midfielder from Palmeiras.
Monaco is looking for a way out for Jean Lucas. The Brazilian midfielder (24) has only participated in ten games this season, for only three starts. Transferred from Lyon against 11 million euros in August 2021, the native of Rio de Janeiro no longer enters into the plans of his coach Philippe Clément. He is the fourth option in midfield behind Youssouf Fofana, Mohamed Camara and Eliot Matazo.
Monaco lives a midfielder from Palmeiras
The quota of non-EU players is full at AS Monaco. The Professional Football League allows four players with this special status per squad and Guillermo Maripan (Chile), Vanderson (Brazil), Jean Lucas (Brazil) and Takumi Minamino (Japan) already tick this case. A departure from the Brazilian midfielder proposed to the Principality club to accelerate on the Danilo file.
