MOLDPRES News Agency – The access of the main oil products to the market of the Republic of Moldova will be facilitated
Chisinau, 14 Dec. /MOLDPRES/. Gasoline and diesel will be imported into our country through a simplified process, following the decision approved today by the Government, reports MOLDPRES.
According to the Directorate of Communication and Protocol of the Executive, in the case of direct import from producers from EU member states, the documents confirming the quality of the petroleum products will be recognized, without the need for mandatory sampling on the customs territory of the Republic of Moldova.
In case the essential oil products originate from third countries, it is mandatory to obtain an inspection report from the profile institutions recognized by the authorized authority from the Republic of Moldova.
State control over compliance with technical specifications for the main fuels placed on the market will be carried out by the State Inspectorate for the Supervision of Non-Food Products and Consumer Protection.
The oil products market in the Republic of Moldova is ensured by the import of the main suppliers in the region. Last year, Romania had a share of 99.35% of the total imported gasoline. This tendency is explained by the presence on the domestic market of oil companies that own their own refineries, neighboring status, but also allows the short distance, which imports by road and rail at affordable costs.
