Prague Airport’s subsidiary Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) has agreed to extend its cooperation with Finnair regarding the so-called heavy maintenance of aircraft from the Airbus A320 family. Finnair, which is a traditional customer of the Czech company, exercised the option for another three years.
“We have extensive experience with Finnair aircraft from the past, we have implemented a number of special modifications, including the installation of a wireless Internet connection,” stated the chairman of the board of CSAT Petr Doberský. Finnair uses one maintenance line in hangar F at Ruzyna all year round.
The contract for the provision of heavy maintenance services includes the comprehensive implementation of all current revisions and repairs.
As part of aircraft maintenance, more difficult repairs, modifications of aircraft systems and structures, modifications of cabin interiors or replacement of engines, chassis or other spare parts are carried out for regular prescribed inspections.
CSAT’s most important customers in the field of heavy maintenance include Transavia Airlines, Neos, Austrian Airlines, Novair and Finnair.
