The National Assembly voted for the cabinet “Gabrovski” – Bulgaria
On Wednesday, the National Assembly will vote on the candidacy of Prof. Nikolay Gabrovski for Prime Minister, as well as his proposed composition of the Council of Ministers with a GERB-SDS mandate.
The first three points of the meeting of the National Assembly envisage “election of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, adoption of the structure of the Council of Ministers, and election of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria”.
On Monday, Gabrovski proposed the composition and structure of the Council of Ministers.
“My main goal is to reduce the tension and find a normal tone between the political parties, but above all to go together on the main goals we have set to overcome the crisis. I am convinced that the Council of Ministers and its composition is capable of guiding Bulgaria through this crisis. The candidates are well known to the public. They also worked in high positions. Without wasting time, we will be able to get down to voting on the budget, Schengen and the Eurozone. I am convinced that these professionals will be more effective in an extremely short period of time,” said the GERB-SDS candidate for his premiere with the president on Monday.
Immediately after the meeting with Gabrovski, President Radev issued a decree for the voting of the proposals in the cabinet in the plenary hall of the parliament.
According to the version proposed by Prof. Gabrovski, the composition of the cabinet includes:
Malina Krumova – Deputy Prime Minister for European funds,
Miglena Tacheva – Deputy Prime Minister for Public Order and Security and Minister of Justice
Meglena Plugchieva – Deputy Prime Minister for Climate Policies and Minister of the Environment, Environment and Water
Marinela Petrova – Minister of Finance
Blagorodna Makeva – Minister of Internal Affairs
gen. Atanas Zapryanov – Minister of Defense
Dragomir Zahov – Minister of Foreign Affairs
Dobromir Simidchiev – Minister of Regional Development and Public Works
Proshko Proshkov – Minister of Transport
Blagomir Zdravkov – Minister of Health
Slavcho Tomov – Minister of Education and Science
Iriney Konstantinov – Minister of Culture
Milena Stoycheva – Minister of Innovation and Growth
Nikolay Pavlov – Minister of Energy
Martin Danovski – Minister of Economy and Industry
Vasil Grudev – Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry
Krasimir Simonski – Minister of e-Government
Martin Zahariev – Minister of Tourism
Boril Krastev – Minister of Youth and Sports.
GERB-SDS have a certain 67 votes, which will stand behind the office of Prof. Nikolay Gabrovski. With the DPS, the “yes” votes would become 103. Due to the categorical positions of the other parties in the parliament, the only ones that can be added to this number remain from “Bulgarian Rise”. If you decide that they also give support to Gabrovski and his minister, this already shows 115 accounts of MPs.
At the moment, “Continuing the Change”, “Vazrazhdane”, BSP and “Democratic Bulgaria” will vote against the cabinet proposed by Gabrovski.
