The Best Film Fest film show continues in Prague from December 15 through the winter parts
The program will include, for example, the winner of this year’s Cannes festival, the satirical comedy Triangle of Sorrow. Best Film Fest has been held twice a year since 2011, with the exception of a two-year covid break, always in winter and summer. ČTK was informed about this on behalf of the organizer by Alice Aronová.
Best Film Fest is based on variety of genres, the dramaturgy of the show was the audience themselves. The festival will present the funny British film with Emma Thompson Good luck, the third sequel to the French comedy hit What did we do to whom did we all do?. They will also screen the Hollywood action film Top Gun: Maverick. The action spectacle with Tom Cruise was seen in domestic cinemas by over 760,000 people and earned more than 140 million crowns. There is also work for children represented by the iconic yellow characters in the family film Mimoni 2: The Villain is Coming, which recorded approximately 670,000 young and old visitors in the Czech Republic.
From the Czech films, the festival will present director Tomasz Wińský’s feature debut about partner relationships Hranice lásky, director Petr Václav’s historical film about the life and work of music composer Josef Mysliveček Il Boemo, director and screenwriter Beata Parkanová’s award-winning drama Slovo or director Vojtěch Mašek’s mystical drama Arvéd. Among the films for the whole family, they will offer the award-winning animated film Mice Belong in Heaven. The show will also show documentaries – a trip to the capital city of Planet Prague or a portrait of Karel Schwarzenberg through the eyes of his daughter My Father, Prince.
