Haute-Garonne: the driver without a license chased by the police from Toulouse to Auch
The police chased a driver for tens of kilometers on Sunday evening between Toulouse and the Gers.
From Toulouse to Auch, a driver took all the risks, Sunday evening, to escape the police. The crazy pursuit begins shortly after 9 p.m., roundabout Doctor Baylac, near the Purpan hospital in Toulouse. At that moment, when he saw a police patrol, a man, driving a Citroën, stepped on the gas to escape control and nearly hit the police car.
Beacon, two-tone… the specialized Mirail field brigade tries to make him stop but he does not comply. He quickly takes the ring road to get away from Toulouse at very high speed, up to 170 km / h, by multiplying the boarding and crossing white lines.
He spins across the field
Chased, he remains determined and leads the police to Pujaudran, L’Isle-Jourdain before arriving in sight of Auch, the Gers prefecture. There, this man decides to abandon the car to drive across the field, still followed by the Toulouse police, joined by Auscitain reinforcements. While running, he ends up being caught and arrested.
This 22-year-old man, already known to the courts, tried to shake off the police for tens of kilometers simply because his license was suspended. He explained this Monday in the context of police custody.
