Interrupted intercourse, Nacher commented on the meeting in Prague. Minority Council on Oversight
“We came at Spolu’s invitation regarding support for the minority council. We repeated our offer for the tolerance of the minority council until the end of February,” Patrik Nacher summed up at the press conference of the ANO candidates in Prague on Sunday.
According to him, the movement wants the councilors who emerged from this year’s municipal elections to rule in the capital three months after the elections. The city still has the old leadership.
“Today, we also presented our colleagues from Spolu with the program priorities that we would like them to at least start in the next two months,” said Nacher. Specifically, he mentioned, for example, an increase in the number of places in secondary schools.
YES, they will support minority rule Together in Prague. Till the end of February

The coalition Together for Prague won the municipal elections in Prague this year, winning 19 mandates in the council, which has 65 members. ANO ended second with 14 mandates. The third Pirates have 13 representatives, the fourth Praha Sobje 11 mandates, the fifth STAN movement won five representatives and the sixth is the SPD with three mandates. Together, it was a coalition mainly on the government’s plan, but the Pirates did not like the conditions offered.
“I called what’s happening now intermittent intercourse,” Nacher commented on the three-month post-election negotiations. He alluded to the fact that the constituent assembly – at which the new leadership in the metropolis is to be elected – has already been interrupted several times. Last until December 15, that is, until Thursday.
Svoboda: We do not see a problem in the conditions
A new council could be formed on Thursday, Svoboda then hinted, which, according to him, the Spolu coalition took a cursory look at the conditions of the ANO movement. “We don’t see any problem there. We will discuss it tomorrow, we will give them an answer by Tuesday,” he outlined.
“Thus, we could theoretically get support for the minority government on Thursday. They could elect all 11 members,” they added.
In addition to ANO, the minority council could also be supported by STAN, representatives of the Prague movement still took time to think. They will discuss the decision first within the movement.
If a minority government is established, negotiations on a majority council should then take place in parallel. The YES movement also wants to get involved. “We will have the ambition to negotiate a majority coalition,” said Nacher.
