Toulouse: it’s already Christmas at the Salon des Créateurs et Artisans d’Art
Looking for Christmas gift ideas? It is at the Salon des Créateurs & artisans d’art that you will find inspiration. Cabinetmakers, upholsterers, gilders, ceramists, jewellers, clothing designers… there is something for all tastes and all budgets.
Treating light as an emotion is what this Brassens chandelier does, equipped with a bronze arm from which small luminous antennas emerge. Very elegant, it will perfectly illuminate a hall. Right next to it, on the walls, there are sconces, with just as subtle contours, which are presented under the “Stinville and Park” logo.
All these creations are to be discovered at the Salon des Créateurs et Artisans d’Art held at the MEETT, until Sunday 11 December.
They come from “The Lauragaise bronze foundry”. “The company created this brand to unite the world of bronze foundry and that of light creation,” says Alexandre Orombel. It is he who holds the company’s stand for its first participation in the Salon des Créateurs et Artisans d’Art.
Unique products
Listed as living heritage, “La Fonderie de bronze lauragaise” offers unique, top-of-the-range products, the prices of which range from €450 to €8,000. Founded in 1975, it says it is valued “for rewriting the art of lighting and building a work of art out of it”. Always at the service of French taste and decoration. The Lauragaise bronze foundry is a partner of the “Ebenistes & Créateurs” association based in Revel. This last group comprises seventeen members, six of whom are present at the Salon des Créateurs et Artisans d’Art at the moment. “This is the sixth year that we have come here, specifies Sébastien Denayrolles, its president. We have a common store in Revel which allows us to pool a saleswoman and a sales area,” he adds.
Himself, a creative cabinetmaker under the Amaryllis brand, presents very beautiful pieces of custom-made furniture. Like this magnificent cabinet in macassar ebony, embellished with a flight of butterflies cut out of barberry. In the neighboring stands, there are paintings designed by marquetry designer Philippe Raymond, the famous Vincent Bonnefous connected cubes, winners of the Lépine contest in Montpellier, and furniture by Andrew Hemus. Together, they constitute a pole that does not lack attractiveness at the heart of the MEETT. You have until Sunday to find out.
