Russian media about Klaipėda and Lithuania only bad or nothing
Apparently, the task for its media has been formulated by Russia, which supports terrorism. And not only about Lithuania, but also about the entire democratic world. Lies are based on real facts, but they are presented in such a way that the world is horrified by democracy, this is the instruction diligently carried out by the Kremlin’s propaganda.
“Russia’s attempts to misinform and manipulate the information space are a global operation,” says the internet portal www.euvsdisinfo.eu.
Although the propaganda of this country pays relatively little attention to Lithuania and its only port city, looking into its immeasurable expanses, one gets the impression that well-paid professionals do not miss a single detail that could be at least somewhat useful in order to belittle or ridicule us.
The longer and more consistently you are interested in what is available on the Internet, the more you realize that, as George Orwell said, “Big Brother is watching you.” That is, the services of the Russian Federation do not take their eyes off the countries that were conquered during the USSR, but have regained their freedom. And about the collected information, which sooner or later may be used against us.
The portal gazeta.ru has the topic “Former USSR”, where there is no separate column for Lithuania – we are classified as Baltic countries. There are separate sections for Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus. All other countries that have at least partially freed themselves from Moscow’s influence are classified as “Transcaucasia” and Central Asia. It seems that the rubrics are arranged according to the priorities that are dictated from the Kremlin.
“An American warship has entered the port of Lithuania”, Kremlin propaganda diligently announces about all ships of NATO countries entering the port of Klaipėda.
And about other actions in Lithuania, with the help of the West, which they hate, to Ukraine, and the strengthening of the defense capabilities of our country.
All mass media of the Russian Federation and pro-Kremlin social networks will report on this. A narrative is being created that NATO is just waiting for an opportunity to attack poor mother Russia… And she, mother, has to mobilize hundreds of Russians and send them to the front to fight against Ukraine, which attacked her.
Well, maybe they didn’t attack, but they certainly would have if their beloved Putin hadn’t hit them first. It is necessary to destroy the reborn Nazism in Ukraine, which is supported by NATO… Of course, the Kremlin-controlled media is silent about the fact that brutal Russian executioners are killing civilians in Ukraine.
Unfortunately, it seems that most Russian people have already bought into this narrative. So why not “promote” it to the people of the former USSR countries? And for the whole wide world? The killers are not us, the killers are the Nazis. Savi believes it, maybe the whole world will too? This is what throws the dirt…
Well, in itself, the audience is still happy to be told about how bad the West (that is, us) lives.
“They will be left without buns and butter: Europeans don’t like the government’s hunger ‘games’,” trumpets the Russian propaganda tool Sputnik, which has spread around the world.
And Graudena: “Now the old social contract “you are full, satisfied and quiet, and we do what we want” has lost its solid economic basis and has split – people often only need a good word about mythical democratic values, and butter should be spent on Kiev’s hands against authoritarianism Russia”.
Since, according to the bloody Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his henchmen, it is necessary to abolish Ukraine because it was taken over by the Nazis, the propaganda of this country does not miss the opportunity to create a narrative about Nazism allegedly raising its head in Lithuania. “Litva — заповедник нацизма” (“Lithuania – a sanctuary of Nazism”), the portal 19rusinfo.ru, outraged that the Russian “neo-nazist iz России” from Ruslan Gabasasovista Руслан Габонаковистав
What doesn’t seem significant to us in Lithuania – an event, a publication, an individual citizen’s opinion about history, the present or the future – Russian propaganda becomes simply a treasure that helps blacken our democracy and supports the myth that Lithuania is a Nazi country, that fascism is glorified here.
For example, we see the “sensational” message: “Кузница асов для Гитлира”: СМИ Литвы начали юбилие назизких Hitleri jubilee fleet news:
The portal rubaltic.ru calls the published article, which is not a “sensation”, by the Klaipėda historian Dainius Ellert about the submarine base of the German military fleet a praiseworthy material (хвалебный материал) for the military forces of the Third Reich in the Baltic Sea.
The mentioned portal found D. Elert’s article on the Lithuanian internet portal “Delfi” and even read the comments under it (if he did not write them himself). And found:
The majority of Lithuanian residents do not see or read such “pearls” of Russian propaganda. And if he sees it, mocks it and forgets, it doesn’t stick. However, Putin’s propaganda mill grinds such things non-stop – and maybe it will stick to…
