A host of new activities are being organized this weekend in Toulouse, such as the sound and light show presented in the courtyard of Castelet, the 18th edition of the regional agricultural show (Regal), the creators on the François Verdier alleys and the “aerojeu” event at the Aéroscopia museum.
Le Castelet puts on its lights
Every evening, at nightfall, the streets of Toulouse light up to the delight of young and old alike. But this weekend, a brand new event will make the eyes of passersby sparkle even more. UN immersive light and sound showspecially designed in honor of the former Saint-Michel prison, will indeed shine the courtyard of Castelet.
Throughout the evening, various paintings will be projected on the facades of the building, mixing words, voices and images, in order to tell the stories of former prisoners of the prison Saint-Michel. You will discover, for example, graffiti left by those who stayed within these walls, or paintings and engravings made by the hands of prisoners, but also stories of their imprisonment. “It is a question here of seeking humanity at the heart of detention”, reveal the organizers. The spectacle, the poetry, the mixture dance and music with the creations of millimeter company and Culture in Movement collectiveon a background of colorful and animated projections that stage both confinement and freedom.

A visit to the regional agricultural fair this weekend in Toulouse
The 18th edition of REGAL South of France, regional agricultural show, continues this weekend at the new Toulouse exhibition center. On this occasion, more than 160 producers from four parts of Occitanie will be present to make you taste nearly 550 specialties of the region such as charcuterie, wine, cheese, seafood, fruit, vegetables, pastries, craft beer, spirits, as well as all kinds of meat and fish preparations. A large space is also dedicated sensory experiences and culinary events which allows you to awaken all your senses, be it taste, smell, but also sight, touch and hearing.
Finally, the children are invited to visit the educational farm installed in Hall 3. More thana hundred animals, like the cows, pigs and sheep, the guides accompanied by their breeders to make them discover the different trades of the farm, but also the techniques of plant cultures, such as arboriculture and aquaculture. You can also watch the milking of the goats or the suckling of the calves live.

Activities for aeronautics enthusiasts at the Aéroscopia museum
The Aéroscopia museum in Blagnac, to the North-West of Toulouse, multiplies the activities and turn into a large playground for the curious, enthusiasts and aviation enthusiasts of all ages this weekend. The goal? Play to discover the world of aeronautics from a new angle. Between the Concorde, the Super Guppy and the A380 and the huge Airbus A300B, you can stop off in the workshop for building brick flying machines or airports made of small wooden planks, take part in special board games aero or challenge yourself in a mini paper plane throwing contest.
