VILLENEUVE-LEZ-AVIGNON Theatrical Publishing Days return to the Chartreuse
From December 8 to 11, the Charterhouse of Villeneuve-lez-Avignon organizes the 2nd edition of the Days of the theatrical edition. A highlight of winter that highlights the topicality of contemporary texts.
On the program: public readings, workshops, debates open to all, professionals, amateur practitioners or simple lovers of theater and books. The public has an appointment this Thursday, December 8, at 8 p.m., for a portrait evening around “Overboard”, a text on the “funny and provocative” work of Michel Vinaver. It is Christian Schiaretti who reads, accompanied by the actors of the Gral and one-night readers. Another highlight of the program, Saturday December 10, at 8 p.m., with an evening on the text “Surexposures” by author Marion Aubert.
The day of Friday, December 9, co-constructed with Occitanie Livre & Lecture. Three regional publishing houses will come”testifies to the specificity of being deployed far from large cities and the invisibility of this edition in the media“, explains Marianne Clévy, the director of the Chartreuse.

Two readings of the 2022 Dramatic Literature Grand Prix will be organized: “Scenes of domestic violence” by Gérard Watkins on Friday December 9 at 8 p.m., and “Lucienne Eden or the Lost Island” by Stéphane Jaubertie on Saturday December 10 at 6 p.m. The prizes of the Chartreuse Readers’ Committees will also be honoured.
