December focus in the InfoEck: “Together instead of alone”
“Saferinternet” – coaching afternoon for parents on December 20, 2022 and “InfoEck Get-Together” on December 22, 2022.
Under the motto “Together instead of alone”, the InfoEck in December focuses on more togetherness between the generations: almost 50 computerias throughout Tyrol invite you to training courses on current PC programs, information afternoons on mobile phone use or a coffee to get to know each other to try out tablets, for example. In addition, the InfoEck is organizing a “Saferinternet” coaching afternoon for parents at the Innsbruck location on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. The InfoEck Innsbruck invites you to a “get-together” with coffee and Christmas cookies on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 1 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Especially in the run-up to Christmas and at Christmas, some people feel lonelier than usual and would like to meet more people. That’s why the InfoEck of the state of Tyrol sets a thematic focus and offers impulse events and activities for informal togetherness in December,” explains LRinAstrid Mair. “Taking time for fellow human beings or to listen more closely in the family can be very enriching, because it’s often the small gestures that count,” says the family and generations minister.
Come together, talk and learn
The InfoEck offers several opportunities to get together before Christmas, to talk to each other and learn at the same time:
- Network Computerias Tirol: The InfoEck coordinates the Computerias Tirol network, which includes almost 50 locations throughout Tyrol and also offers older people the opportunity to actively deal with computers and new technologies over a “getting to know coffee” during the Christmas season. At some of them, schoolchildren and students who work on a voluntary basis also support these meetings and at the same time enable cross-generational coexistence. More information at www.infoeck.at/computerias-tirol.
- “Saferinternet” coaching afternoon for parents: Increasing screen time among children, dangers and temptations on the Internet, and family discussions are all issues relating to the use of mobile phones and computers by children and young people. In an open discussion, mothers and fathers can put questions to a Saferinternet trainer and get advice from InfoEck staff on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 as part of the coaching afternoon for parents on the topic of “Saferinternet”. Due to the limited number of participants, prior registration is required [email protected] necessary.
- Info Corner Christmas meeting: Chatting and chatting over free coffee and Christmas cookies and simply spending time together – interested young people, families and seniors can do this at the “Get-together” at InfoEck Innsbruck on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Incidentally, visitors can get information and advice on various topics free of charge, anonymously and confidentially.
