‘Spazio Ulisse’ reopens in the historic center of Chiusi, a project born a few years ago from an idea by Simone Nasorri who saw a forced stop due to the pandemic. An unusual space, small but bold, courageous, a place where contemporary art events and exhibitions are organised, as in the case of the current exhibition by Edoardo Cialfi entitled ‘L’Imminent’.
These are 2 works exhibited by the young Umbrian artist, who has left his past as a writer (graffiti artist) but not the can, in fact his works are made entirely with spray. The historic center lends itself to being a meeting place between art and culture, enhancing artistic and social activities as done in the last year with the Flashati association which with Diaframmi no stop curate the permanent photographic exhibitions, with the Orizzonti Foundation, with the photographic exhibition ‘The sacredness of water in Asia’, the itinerant exhibition of local photographers who narrated ‘The journey within the journey’, the conferences ‘Scavi Aperti’ at the Lavatoi or with book presentations from the Ottiero Ottieri Library. Congratulations to Simone for choosing him which originates also thanks to that artistic air that he has always breathed within the home thanks to his father, a well-known sculptor from Chiusi.
“These are good opportunities to meet – declares Mayor Sonnini – which promote awareness of Chiusi in the contemporary artistic world and give us the opportunity to build events by making our public spaces available”. “It was nice – says Simone Nasorri – after the forced interruption due to the pandemic to see so many people again at the inauguration of Edoardo Cialfi’s exhibition. This demonstrates the interest in contemporary art and in art in general. An extra stimulus for us at Spazio Ulisse to continue with this type of cultural event”.
