On Sunday, December 11, 2022, a new timetable will apply on the railway. The main news will include the modification of the transport model on the lines from Benešov via Olbramovice to Tábor and to Sedlčany, which is related to the acceleration of long-distance trains on the main line from Prague to Tábor. The transport concept will also change on the line between Kralupy nad Vltavou and Kladno, where most trains will now go directly to Prague. The new timetable will be valid until December 9, 2023.
During the validity period of the 2022/23 timetable, regional trains will cover a total of 4.97 million train kilometers in the capital city of Prague (+0.35% year-on-year), and a total of 15.18 million train kilometers (+0.21%) in the Central Bohemian Region ). A total of 2,232 regional (passenger or express) trains will run in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region, i.e. an average of 1,713 per day.

Change of the transport model in Benešovské and connecting lines thanks to the start of full operation on the new corridor line Sudoměřice – Votice
From the start of the new timetable, traffic in and around Benešovsk will be significantly modified thanks to the launch of full speed on the new corridor line. Due to the faster track and the different locations of long-distance transport, passenger and express trains on lines 210 Prague – Vrané nad Vltavou – Čerčany, 212 Čerčany – Zruč nad Sázavou (– Světlá nad Sázavou), 220 Benešov u Prahy – Tábor, 221 Prague – Benešov u Prahy, 222 Benešov u Prahy – Vlašim and 223 Olbramovice – Sedlčany. From Benešov to the south, regional transport will be handled by a new concept, when direct trains Benešov – Olbramovice – Sedlčany and Olbramovice – Tábor will be provided.

Change of traffic model on line 093 Kralupy nl Vlt. – Positive
New transport model on line 093 Kralupy nl Vlt. – Kladno will bring changes especially in the direction of Kralupa – Kladno: Stays in Brandýsek and transfers in Kladno-Ostrovec will be cancelled, and the vast majority of trains will be direct in the Kralupa nn Vlt. – Kladno – Prague, in the opposite direction there will be only minor changes. There will also be an improvement in connectivity in Kralupy n. Vlt.
Changes on individual ČD lines in Prague and the Central Bohemia region
Line 011 Prague – Cologne
In the afternoon, express trains from Prague will depart about 20 minutes earlier due to the coordination of positions with long-distance transport. Since the end of the diversion trains, they will run from July 3 to/from Kutný Hory hl.n.
Track 012 Pečky – Kouřim
The traffic on the track corresponds approximately to the timetable valid from September 15, 2022.
Line 061 Nymburk – Jičín
The weekend trains that ran on the Nymburk – Křinec – Městec Králové route in the 2022 timetable will now run on the Nymburk – Křinec – Rožďalovice route. The Central Bohemian Region did not order the operation of weekend passenger trains in the section Křinec – Městec Králové.
Route 062 Nymburk – Mladá Boleslav
The line, which was numbered 071 in the 2022 timetable, is newly marked with number 062, the operation will be maintained without changes.
Route 064 Mladá Boleslav – Sobotka (– Lomnice nad Popelkou)
In connection with the change in the rules of the railway operator on the line with simplified traffic control, the majority of trains were administratively renumbered.
The operation in the Mladějov v Čecháy – Lomnice nad Popelkou section will be newly ordered only in the tourist season in the period from April 29 to September 30, 2023. For trains in the Mladějov v Čecháy – Mladá Boleslav section, data restrictions and routes of some train restrictions will be adjusted.
Line 070 Prague – Turnov
The lockout in the Prague-Vysočany – Prague-Satalice section, which affected trains on the line for the entire year 2022, has ended. Trains will run smoothly again. Express train Sp 1540 will now run directly to Mladá Boleslav město station. Table of route 070 new intermediate stops in the territory of Prague.
Line 071 Prague – Prague-Čakovice
The Prague section of line 070 is now shown separately in the table for line 071. During the validity of the timetable, it is expected that the new Prague-Rajská zahrada stop will be opened for passengers (it will also apply to trains on line 232 Prague – Lysá nad Labem – Milovice).
Line 076 Mladá Boleslav – Mšeno – Mělník
According to the amended order of the Central Bohemian Region, there will be on the line in the Mladá Boleslav hl.n. section. – Mělník still runs only four pairs of trains on weekdays, trains will be ordered on weekends from March 25 to October 29, 2023. During the winter season, the line will not be serviced on weekends.
Summer weekend trains will run at new times with fast connections at Mladá Boleslav station in the capital. with the R21 express train from/to Prague, the R22 express train from/to Kolín and the L4 passenger train from/to Česká Lípa. Most trains will be direct to/from Mladá Boleslav město station. The connections at Mělník station will also be improved compared to the 2022 timetable.
Route 090 + 091 Prague – Roudnice nad Labem (– Děčín)
The number and time positions of trains are practically unchanged. The morning accelerated train to Prague departing from Kralup at 6:12 (Os 9607) will still run in the position of the 2022 timetable. In the section Kralupy nad Vltavou – Vraňany, train Os 9672 will run approx. 20 minutes later (departing from Kralup at 7: 41).
Route 092 Kralupy nad Vltavou – Neratovice
According to the amended order of the Central Bohemian Region, there will be a change in the distribution of performance between the carriers ČD and KŽC Doprava in the morning hours of weekdays, except during school holidays. The morning train Os 19511 with departure from Kralup nad Vltavou at 9:04 will run only on weekends and holidays, on weekdays except holidays, train Os 19535 with departure at 9:28 will run instead.
Route 093 Kladno – Kralupy nad Vltavou
Based on the request of the client IDSK, there will be a change in the transport model on line 093 overall. The range of traffic (number of trains) will be maintained. In the direction of Kladno – Kralupy n. Vlt. these are only minor time shifts of some morning trains. In the Kralupa – Kladno direction, almost all trains will now run as direct trains on the Kralupa nn Vlt. – Kladno – Prague, with departures in the 50th minute from Kralupy. This will improve continuity in Kralupy, eliminate the long stay in Brandýsek and also eliminate the forced violation in Kladno-Ostrovec for some trains. At the same time, with this change, the following stops and stations will be alternated: Dřetovice, Kladno-Vrapice and Kladno-Dubí. Each train always passes two of the three places mentioned.
The Railway Administration postpones the start of construction in the framework of the modernization of the Prague – Kladno line to 2023. It will be a rebuilding of the Kladno station, including the connecting line to Kladno-Ostrovec. This construction will have a major impact on the operation of trains on line 093. Currently, the exact dates of the closures are not yet known, ČD will inform about the traffic measures in time before they start.
Line 110 Kralupy nad Vltavou – Louny
The number and time positions of trains during the day until the evening will be practically unchanged. The morning train Os 9721 will now go directly to Neratovice station.
Line 120 Prague – Rakovník
There will be only one minor change on this line: Morning train from Rakovník with departure at 6:18 a.m. to Prague (Sp 1565) will not stop for boarding and alighting passengers at Kamenné Žehrovice station. The reason is the need to speed up the arrival in Kladno.
The Railway Administration postpones the start of two constructions in the course of 2023 as part of the modernization and completion of the Prague – Kladno / Václav Havel Airport line. It will involve the rebuilding of Praha-Bubny station and Kladno station, including the connecting line to Kladno-Ostrovec. Both mentioned constructions will have an impact on the operation of trains on line 120. Currently, the exact dates of the closures are not yet known, ČD will inform about them in time before they start.
Line 121 Hostivice – Podlešín
Based on the client’s request, IDSK will not run the afternoon pair of trains Hostivice – Noutonice and vice versa due to long-term low occupancy. These are trains departing from Hostivice at 17:31 (Os 19762) and returning from Noutonic at 17:57 (Os 19761). In most of the route, however, another connection can be used, which will continue to operate. Furthermore, the morning train from Hostivice departing at 7:07 a.m. to Noutonic (Os 19746) will also not run.
Line 122 Prague – Hostivice – Rudná u Prahy
Based on the customer’s request, IDSK is in the process of rerouting the morning train from Prague-Zličín with departure at 6:46 a.m. to Rudná u Prahy instead of the existing Noutonic, in the section Hostivice – Rudná u Prahy (arriving at 7:07 a.m.) this is a new train (Os 25960).
The railway administration anticipates the start of work on the reconstruction of Praha-Smíchov station in 2023, the start of this construction will have a major impact on the operation of trains on line 122. All train lines S65 and also Cyklohráčky will run outside Praha-Smíchov station’s northern platform and they will stop at the temporary platform of the Praha-Smíchov station. At the same time, due to the more complicated passage through Smíchov (two junctions), the journey time between Žvahov and the main station will be significantly longer. Currently, the assumption is that this change will take place from 1 April 2023, but this date may still change. We will inform you further about the date.
Route 171 Prague – Beroun
After the completion of the construction work at the Praha-Radotín station, from February 9, 2023, booster trains Praha-Radotín – Prague hl.n. will start running again. and back in the weekday morning rush hour.
Line 210 Prague – Čerčany / Dobříš
Due to the time shifts of connecting trains in Čerčany, most trains are moved in the section Čerčany – Týnec nad Sázavou and back. On weekdays, today’s Os 2019 train from Prague hl.n. at 16:25 it will end in Čisovice, on the contrary, today’s Os 2021 train from Prague will go to Dobříš at 17:25 (Dobříš 18:53).
Route 212 Čerčany – Ledeč nad Sázavou
Due to the time shifts of the connecting trains in Čerčany, the majority of trains on line 212 are being shifted. More significant shifts will be in the morning traffic on weekends.
Line 220 (Prague –) Olbramovice – Tábor
Based on the IDSK order, due to the start of operation along the new line at full speed, regional transport will be conducted in a completely different concept. Passenger trains will run only on the Olbramovice – Tábor route as connections from / to the express trains in Olbramovice at roughly two-hour intervals. In the hour when the train does not go to / from Tábor, there will be inserted connections in the section Olbramovice – Votice and back.
Route 221 Prague – Benešov u Prahy
Due to the start of operation along the new line Sudoměřice u Tábora – Votice at full speed, regional transport will adapt to other time positions of long-distance transport. Regional trains on line 221 will run approx. 15 minutes later. There will also be an adjustment of the time positions of express trains, especially in the direction to Prague.
Line 222 Benešov u Prahy – Vlašim
Due to the start of operation along the new line Sudoměřice u Tábora – Votice at full speed, regional traffic must adapt to other time positions of long-distance traffic on this line as well. Regional trains to and from Vlašimi will run approx. 30 minutes later. However, this means the extension of transfer connections to long-distance trains. On weekends, there will be an increase in traffic for an interval of 60 minutes between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Line 223 Benešov u Prahy – Olbramovice – Sedlčany
On the basis of the IDSK order, due to the start of operation along the new line at full speed, regional transport is conducted in a completely different concept. Passenger trains are always run on the route Benešov – Sedlčany and back as a connection from / to the express trains in Benešov in the priority direction (on weekdays in the morning to Prague, in the afternoon from Prague, on weekends the other way around) in roughly two-hour intervals (on peak weekdays in an hourly ).
Line 230 Kolín – Havlíčkův Brod
From July 3, 2023, after the end of the diversion route, express trains will run again on the route Prague hl.n. – Kutná Hora hl.n. and back (now ending in Cologne).
Line 231 (Prague –) Lysá nad Labem – Kolín
From July 1, 2023, passenger trains will again stop at the Veltruby and Kolín-Zálabí stops, and train Os 6401 will once again go to Kolín.
Line 232 Prague – Lysá nad Labem – Milovice
During the validity of the timetable, it is expected that the new Prague-Rajská zahrada stop will be opened for passengers (it will also apply to trains on line 071 Prague – Prague-Čakovice).
Line 236 Čáslav – Třemošnice
Based on the request of the transport customers, trains will run in the afternoon only at two-hour intervals.
There will be no major changes on the other Central Bohemian lines from December 11, 2022.
