Nice drama on the boards of Entr’Deux
Imphy. The people of the Ondines on the boards of Entr’Deux. The Association for the cultural renewal of the theater of Imphy (Arecti) received Marie-Pierre Carlier and Vincent Bernard, for a crossover show between piano and voice, in its den on rue de la Cure.
The people of the Ondins, soulless people, live in torrents, rivers, lakes. He delights in pranks, pleasures with great lightness. And King Odin promised his daughter that the day she fell in love with a human, he would give her a soul.
Strength of interpretation
The tale and its outcome are planted. What, for Marie-Pierre Carlier, to stroll with talent on her keyboard around the works of Debussy, Ravel, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Mompou, or even Schubert.
What also, for Vincent Bernard, accompanies the drama of Hans, the knight of the novel by La Motte Piqué, with pieces chosen and adapted by Valérie Caudron. In which he gives all the strength of his interpretation. Alas, in his quest, he falls in love with another beautiful young girl and marries. His betrayal of Ondine, the king’s daughter, means a heavy penalty, he must die.
Very nice drama moreover very intense and served by artists at the top of their form. Spectators obviously enjoyed it very much.
