Dijon:
Annecy II:

Ducal double thrust:

Annecy II started well and went on the offensive from the start of the match. As usual, Krofta intervenes solidly. Locals are penalized on entry. Davy Rachex in the blue sends a missile repelled by the Czech goalkeeper.
Maxime Jury alone against but loses his duel against the goalkeeper. Chabert takes all the defense but his shot misses. It is the turn of the Annecy residents to be penalised. The ducal pressing is stronger and finally Jury manages to slip to the bottom (1-0 at 06’15).

The Knights of the Lake are divided into fire, Perrée alone comes up against the native of Česká Lípa. The pace is fast and Annecy II is more on the offensive than its counterpart who is playing on the counter-offensive. The visitors are penalized, this time the Dijon powerplay stutters and achieves nothing.
Dijon keeps control on the return to five, the high pressing of the Annecy allows them to undermine the local game well. Perrée against alone but is still foiled by the Burgundian goalkeeper.
The Dukes find their reflexes and push in the other direction. Alexandra launches from the blue, Bossier pushed back, the rebound is propelled to the bottom halfway up by Lacroix (2-0 at 15’35).
The match is rough against the Knights of the Lake do not go to the end. The local pressing is the strongest and pushes the Hauts-Savoyards to the fault.

Penalty kicks : 15 / 8 for Dijon

Engagement : 11 / 11

Faults and then nothing:

Dijon returns to the ice with superiority but fails to materialize, like Geantet in the slot which comes up against Bossier. The Dukes force the lock but without success, Bourgin Ubiali in front of the but fails.
Rave against all speed, he takes all the defense and leaves to withdraw but no one has followed him. Neuwirth answers him on a break well blocked by Bossier. The game goes fast from edge to edge. Krofta flies past Simiand and pushes the puck away.
Annecy II is penalized, the local powerplay is still sterile. The Dukes are then penalized in turn, but the visitors again. Durin counters alone but loses his duel. He rushes but misses the target.

The faults multiply so much that the locals find themselves at three against five, not for long because the Annecy residents are also sanctioned shortly after. Pescio alone cannot outsmart Krofta, just like Cimmino from the blue.
The suitors will come back to fall as the degrees apart. Dijon then finds itself in double advantage at the end of the third but Bossier is working to hold his goal. It is with an identical score that this second third ends after almost 45 minutes.

Penalty kicks : 18 / 10 for Dijon

Engagement : 13 / 13

Ebb and flow, Dijon concludes:

Annecy II regains superiority on the ice but fails to take advantage of it. The Knights of the Lake are more dangerous and motivated at the start of the last twenty. The Dukes defend somehow, Krofta continues his show. Pescio bypasses the local goal and manages to slip in the middle for Rave who pushes deep (2-1 at 45’14).

Annecy II returns to a length and accelerates again to try to equalize. Rave alone tries the pass of two but Krofta pushed back.
The alert as to be hot for the Dukes who are distributed on the offensive. Lacroix and Chabert broke two against one but could not beat Bossier. Perrée goes on a break, sets the whole ice on fire but cannot conclude. An Annecy foul allows the locals to relocate to the offensive zone.

Bais slap of the blue, Geantet takes the rebound and shakes the nets (3-1 at 49’41).
Dijon breathes but the Knights of the Lake are divided against. On one of them, Krofta is touched and leaves briefly the time to put a bandage on his arcade then he resumes his place in front of the nets.
Annecy II is penalized, Dijon tries in vain to kill the match. The minutes go by and the Hauts-Savoyards are still sanctioned at the very end of the game. Bourgin Ubiali goes up the ice and leaves for Geantet who increases the bet to 1’37 from the final siren (4-1 at 58’23).

Penalty kicks : 14 / 11 for Dijon

Engagement : 12 / 11 for Dijon

Dijon calls logically but not without struggling this meeting. Quite quickly in front of the Dukes were able to grow their powerplays (3 goals in superiority) to get rid of eye-catching Knights of the Lake. The Dukes remain in contact with the top of the group table thanks to this second victory in a row before a trip to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg next week.

Annecy II was able to stay in contact despite a local domination, at the start of the last third, it did not miss much to change the destiny of the game. But penal tropes the Knights of the Lake cracked and claimed Burgundy empty-handed. Next week, the residents of Annecy will abolish the red lantern, Strasbourg II.
