Big fright for the family of a septuagenarian suffering from Alzheimer’s. Missing, she was finally found healthy and saved on the night of December 3 to 4.
This 76-year-old lady had decided this Saturday afternoon to leave the EPHAD in Rouffiac-Tolosan where she lived, to take a walk. But the septuagenarian, suffering from Alzheimer’s, has probably not found her way home at the end of the day.
The family gave the alert and a call for witnesses was launched to elucidate this disappearance considered worrying.
The gendarmerie scoured the entire town to try to find her. A Narbonne dog handler was even called in to help speed up the search. In this period of winter weather, the temperatures fell quickly and the investigators feared that she would feel unwell from the cold.
It was finally around midnight that a motorist found the septuagenarian. She was very weak but was doing well. This is the second time in a short time that this lady has been lost during her walks.
