Exit in Haute-Savoie. Corrida is getting ready in Annecy!
The pros and anti-bullfighting can be reassured, there will be no bulls on the Pâquier on Saturday December 17, because it is indeed a pedestrian bullfight that Annecy Running Organization has planned to set up. On a 1,500m loop that is both technical and fast, traced on the edge of the lake, with a course between one and five times depending on the category, the runners (young or more experienced) will compete in an idyllic setting.
A great popular festival
On the model of what the Escalade race in Geneva offers at the beginning of December, it is a great popular celebration that is hoped for with events for children from 9 years old, individual races for adults, reserved relays clubs or companies, but also a 1,500 m Walk of Lights reserved for families which will start at 6.30 p.m. and during which participants are invited to come dressed up and carrying a light source to echo the Christmas lights present in the city.
If the marathon of Christmas gifts is over, why not come and sprint on the Pâquier? Musical entertainment and a refreshment bar are also carried out, carried by a team of volunteers who still need to expand.
