Woman found dismembered in France was a Portuguese emigrant in Luxembourg – Observer
A dismembered body found in France corresponds to that of a Portuguese woman living in Luxembourg. There was information about the nationality of the woman to confirm by the Parquet Luxembourgeois (MP) to the Portuguese language newspaper Contacto. “There are many indications that the victim had Portuguese nationality and resided in the Grand Duchy”, confirmed the MP adding that the case was under investigation. “At this stage, we can’t say anything else,” he said.
The victim, aged 20 to 35, was found by French authorities on September 19 a disused building in the town of Mont-Saint-Martin, next to the border with Luxembourg. The discovery was made by a teenager and the owner of a bar in the town called the police after being alerted by the young man.
The process of identifying the victim was hampered by the fact that the head was not next to the body, and authorities released photos of tattoos on the corpse in an attempt to identify him. In the days following the discovery body videos disappeared share on social networks in France and Luxembourg🇧🇷
The prosecutor handling the case said the lack of blood at the scene suggested the woman was likely “dismembered elsewhere” and then taken to Mont-Saint-Martin.
