Toulouse: Anouk Dequé at the head of Women Entrepreneurs
The Toulousain Anouk Déqué is elected President of FCE France, the first association of Women Business Leaders in France.
With 98% of the vote, Anouk Déqué has just become president of the Association of Women Business Leaders (FCE) France. The one who has been running her eponymous communication agency in Toulouse for three decades, was first president of the FCE Haute-Garonne delegation 3 years ago, before taking the national reins.
His mission ? “Promote female entrepreneurship, allow women, business leaders, to come together to share their experiences, grow, and participate more in the ecosystems of their territories, in particular through constituents with institutions. All while using the slogan of our association: alone we are invisible, together we are invincible,” announces Anouk Déqué.
While only 35% of the companies created are run by women, the Toulousaine, already very active in Occitania, will endeavor to push back these limits on the scale of France. For Anouk Déqué, this under-representation is explained by “the impostor syndrome because women are less daring” but also by “the weakness of the infrastructure which does not help women to reconcile work and family or even their lack of full availability required for these positions. Added to this are cultural issues. Even if we see that women are more and more numerous in the creation of micro-enterprises or among self-employed people, but to go further, it is more complicated because it is a very heavy commitment ” .
For the Toulousaine, it is above all the good balance between men and women that “contributes to the good functioning of the teams and makes a company go further. »
