It’s a city entrance very borrowed to access the center of Caen (Calvados). Avenue de Courseulles has been closed since the end of November 2022 and will be closed for a few more days. A project is underway: “extension of rainwater networks, recovery and creation of drains”, explains the City of Caen on site. Rue Malfilâtre is also concerned. Only residents can pass the barriers to reach their homes.
A reopening of the avenue de Courseulles on Tuesday or Wednesday?
On site, the workers are working to change the drains along the sidewalks, these devices intended to improve runoff or floor cleaning. The decree relating to traffic and parking regulations was issued from November 21 to December 9. But the installation should be completed this Friday, December 2, 2022.
The completion of the asphalt will follow on Monday 5, or even Tuesday 6. “In principle, Tuesday or Wednesday, traffic will be able to resume”, concedes a worker on the spot.
