Press conference on the monitoring report on transphobic and homophobic violence in Berlin
The Berlin Senate Department for Justice, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination invites media representatives to a digital press conference on the presentation of the 2nd monitoring report on transphobic and homophobic violence in Berlin. Berlin is the only federal state that has such an instrument for combating hate violence against lesbians, gays, bisexuals as well as transgender and intersex people (LGBTI). In addition to monitoring violence against LGBTI Overall, the 2022 report focuses on transphobic violence. In addition to the scientific evaluation of the police registration statistics, a survey of transgender Berliners was carried out on this area of violence.
