Relive the first day of AS Monaco players in Benidorm
This Tuesday marked the start of the preparation camp in Spain for the Red and Whites. Back in video on the first training session with in addition a guided tour of Thomas Didillon.
The preparation for the second half of the season has begun! After a first day devoted to individual tests and recovery training at the Performance Center, AS Monaco headed to Spain and Benidorm this Tuesdayfor a stage lasting ten days.
An intense first session
After discovering their base camp in the early afternoon, where the Bruges Circle is also present, the 20 reds and whites took part in their first session. The opportunity for Philippe Clément to recall that this period is conducive to “doing many more things, collectively and individually”.
Under a beautiful sun, they notably carried out sprints, play with the ball or even cross exercises. All with great intensity as confirmed by Caio Henrique at the end of this training. “It was a bit during today, but that’s normal. It’s the first training here, and it’s very good,” he explains.

Thomas Didillon in site visit mode
Everyone was able to see a small taste of what awaits them for ten days, in order to increase their power to be ready when the resumption of the championship in Auxerre. “It was a day of transition and it’s tomorrow that we’re going to sweat properly,” confirms Thomas Didillon.
The caretaker, who celebrated his 27th birthday on Monday, also gives us a short tour of the premises by revealing the idyllic setting in which they are, as well as his room. “It looks like influencers walking into a hotel room and being offered a stay,” he jokes.
