The new Florim Flagship Store opens in Rome
Florim opened one showroom in Rome, a few steps from the famous Spanish Steps and Palazzo Chigi. The space of about 350 square meters is located within the historic walls of Palazzo di Propaganda Fide, one of the most important examples of Baroque architecture in the capital. The entrance and three shop windows overlook Via dei Due Macelli 50 and are on the corner with Via di Capo le Case where the showroom continues with four other windows. A frame of great historical value to promote the Florim product and the use of large slabs as a design element.
An undisputed reference point for fashion and luxury, the capital is a must for professionals in the world of design, furniture and architecture. The opening is a further step of the image promotion project and skills for large engineering and architecture studios started thirteen years ago and which has seen a succession of nine openings of institutional spaces in the most important design centers in Italy and around the world.
Claudio Lucchese | President Florim
«We continue to invest in the opening of new spaces that allow us to preside over the main world capitals of architecture and design. A journey that began in 2009 in Italy, where we opened the first Flagship Store in Milan, and which will continue in the coming months. All this with the aim of getting closer to the big design studios, promoting Florim surfaces and the use of large slabs both for the traditional ones and for the furniture sector that is increasingly receptive and attentive to the sustainable aspects of the products».
The exhibition spaces have been created in stylistic continuity with the other showrooms: Florim Gallery in Fiorano Modenese (Mo) and the Flagship Stores in Milan, New York, Moscow, Singapore, Frankfurt, London, Abu Dhabi and Paris. The one in Rome has a developed multifunctional concept on two levels. The ground floor is characterized by large windows that allow the entry of natural light.
Here there are spaces entirely furnished with Florim surfaces for various uses; alongside, a more technical area dedicated to the range of large slabs Magnum Oversized (up to 320x160cm). The basement houses an outdoor area, a work area reserved for architects and designers as well as an office space.
