“Congratulations to the team. The victory was deserved, we dictated the tempo of the game from the start. The players showed character because we had a losing streak and now we broke it. We had a knife on our neck and we won the match,” praised Ostrava assistant Saša Jankovič.
His counterpart was in a completely different mood. “A game of two halves. Everyone deserves to be fired for the first one. If we continue to play like this, we are a second-division team and have nothing to do in the NBL,” Slavia coach Pavel Beneš was angry.
“We allowed the home team absolutely everything. All the preparation for the match and the video, it was all for nothing. The players didn’t care. After the tsunami in the dressing room, the second half was excellent, if we were like this the whole time, I believe we will win,” added Pavel Beneše.
