Slave traders hid illegal immigrants in trucks
In special caches, in trucks, they transported illegally foreigners two people arrested in Thessaloniki.
According to the police announcement, as part of patrols on Egnatia Odos, police officers of the Immigration Management Department of the Directorate of Foreigners of Thessaloniki, at the intersections of Asprovalta and Kerdyllia respectively, detected, on two different occasions, an equal number of trucks that were illegally transported in special caches , foreigners who lacked documents for their legal stay in Greek territory.

The two foreign drivers, a 23-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, were arrested, due to the charges filed. It is noted that the vehicle driven by the 19-year-old foreigner was found to have fake license plates and the investigation revealed that it had been reported stolen in September of this year at a police station in the Prefecture of Attica.
