Your most important task is to present the Police, the State Fire Service (including in the area of cooperation with medical rescue and social assistance units), the Border Guard (including in the area of cooperation with TOPR and GOPR). Issues related to the functioning of educational devices, regarding animal control, as well as security, power supply and equipment of hydrotechnical devices for operation in winter conditions were also discussed.
From the perspective of a smaller town

Helping the needy
In the autumn and winter period, the Małopolska Police of Operations under the slogan “WINTER 2022/2023”. They are aimed at establishing specific temperature conditions and the phenomenon of homelessness, depending on the situation that may result in the death of a homeless person in the way the body cools down. These are activities of a preventive, caring and informative nature.
Municipalities in Małopolska, as part of the winter season 2022/2023, have taken actions similar to those checked in previous years, e.g. distributing support for the elderly, lonely and disabled informing about the threat. Appeals were also sent to the residents for help for social assistance for the homeless or the poorest people.
The number of communes that include places of shelter for their residents is 170. Secured provisions 1,237 places of shelter (+ 10 places), including: 646 places (+ 5 rules) in 36 shelters for the homeless (132 communes), 202 places in 20 a shelter for the homeless with care services (33 communes), 271 beds in 12 night shelters (41 communes), 118 beds (+ 5 own) in 5 heating centers (4 communes).

In 23 communes supporting non-governmental organizations, 111 people support help, including help for the homeless (including 7 shelters, 22 eateries, 8 restaurants, 6 clinics for the homeless and uninsured, 13 medical points, including 7 gift pharmacies medicines and dressings, 19 substance administration points, 30 food administration points and others).
Winter road maintenance

On national roads, vehicles are informed about the conditions causing (formation of black ice) by illuminated road signs cooperating continuously with automatic weather stations and surface condition sensors.
