Two dead, a victim of Russian nationality … what we know about the crash of a helicopter in Eze
“The accident took place around 2 p.m. in the town of Villefranche-sur-Mer, on the border with that of Èze”, said a representative of the prefecture.

The victims
The two victims are the French pilot of the helicopter from the Monegasque private company Monacair, aged around 30, and a passenger, a businessman “of Russian nationality with a Maltese passport”, specified the prefecture.
A second passenger had been canceled “at the last minute”indicated the company Monacair.
The pilot “had done all his training in the area and knew it very well” and the device was “of the latest generation”, she also specified. Aged 35, he lived in the Apes-Maritimes.
