A former garment factory, this 2,200 m2 site includes the Secular Diversity Space – LGBT Center (Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Trans), the Equal Diversity Mission and, moreover, the sewing workshops of the Capitole Theater. hosts meetings of:Toulouse Diversity – Toulouse Council of Foreign ResidentsEqualities Mission of the Toulouse Fraternité – Conseil de la Laïcité Work CommissionsGuided tourOn the ground floor, there is the reception, the 150-seat auditorium and a duty office of access to law. 1st floor: the showroom and five meeting rooms. 2nd floor: the LGBT center and the Théâtre du Capitole sewing workshop. 3rd and 4th floors: the offices of the Diversity MissionThe exhibitionsThe Secular Diversity Spaces has around forty exhibitions (most often in “roll-up” format) which illustrate the following themes: • Origin and immigration, • Human rights, • Sexual orientation, • Handicap, • Gender, • Secularism. This event is organized in partnership with DIAM, with a screening of the film “Tremblements” by Jayro Bustamente and with the support of the Equal and Diversity Mission of the City of Toulouse, as part of the 10th anniversary of the Secular Diversity Space.
Two guests will intervene after the film: Jean-Michel DUNAND, founder of the Bethany communion and member of the “nothing to heal” collective, and Cyrille De Compiègne, co-president of the David and Jonathan association.
The debate will be moderated by François Maréchal, head of the Toulouse group of David and Jonathan and Gabriel Sampaio, co-president of David and Jonathan.
